This article briefly describes the realization of a project, as a visiting professor at Beijing Jiaotong University. It is a Technological University located in Haidan, in central Beijing, founded in September 1909. It began as an apprenticeship school for railway mechanics and machinists. It has a campus with an area of 667,000 m2 and a built area of 920,000 m2. The campus is home to 15 faculties offering courses at the undergraduate, master's, doctoral and specialization levels. It currently has 25,569 students, 4,428 professors and 1,067 administrative staff. Encouraging the participation of foreign visiting professors is part of the institution's engineering policy with a view to creating in future professionals the perception of the importance of understanding the effects of interculturality in the globalized world. The richness of participating in a project dealing with students from a country with a millenary tradition and a distinct language is of transcendental importance. Perceiving in youth the interest in capturing and internalizing the information transmitted about the practical application of the theories learned in the academy to the industrial production environment is a reason for joy as a visiting professor. I emphasize the importance of educational and technological exchange agreements with a view to developing the mentality of intercultural relations in the globalized professional environment.
