The implementation of Maker Project related to the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) by the Secretary of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro, seeks to instrumentalize the teaching of educational robotics in basic education in order to stimulate the development of skills in the areas of exact sciences. The proposal to insert robotics in education serves as a facilitator of the students' learning process, enriching the curriculum and contributing to the students' active learning. In implementing the "Cultura Maker" project, it is necessary to offer training to basic education teachers, so that they can encourage their classes and act as tutors. Thus, a program was created with the aim of proposing an educational robotics course to public school teachers in the city of Angra dos Reis. This activity has been developed in two ways: extension and in the discipline of Projects in Electrical Engineering. After organizing the practices and printed material, the activity is developed with undergraduate students from the Celso Suckow da Fonseca Federal Center for Technological Education (CEFET-RJ), Angra do Reis campus, as instructors or monitors. The main objective is to encourage the student's protagonism during their learning process and to instigate the teacher to act as a learning encourager, and no longer as a transmitter of knowledge. In addition, it is expected to contribute to the undergraduate student training process and encourage the development of skills in the exact and technological areas of students in the public school system and provide students with an activity with high interaction with society and complying with the role of the university as a transforming agent in society.
