Developing for the world wide web is a fundamental skill for most professional areas, no limited by, but especially for the technological field. All web content and services provided in servers around the world are fundamental for keeping a complex network of web resources, allowing users to interact with other people, other companies and even directly to an electronic device across the globe. Web development students should be prepared to learn not only what is currently available, but how to stay updated to the long term, since very probably the content of an undergrad course about web will be outdated before students start to use that in their professional lives. This work applies active learning methodologies, which fits well with web development teaching, since students can decide what technologies to use, and learn the fundamentals of web logical infrastructures in real projects and the dilemmas involved, including to develop skills on how to learn a new technology. Agile software strategies were used to improve learning of the complexity of larger development teams, where few teams develop individual projects, which must be integrated with other team's code at the end. The scrum of Scrums method proved to be a good strategy for team communication in their project integration. At the end, students were oriented to not only consume class handouts, but constantly review class dynamics with students collaborating among them, resulting in an always updated course, and having students sharing responsibility with the entire class.
